PART 2: Office attire… fun summer wardrobe. They CAN co-exist.

Last week, I shared a segment I did on Breakfast Television .  In case you forgot, I talked about keeping your office attire appropriate, fun, and – always – stylish for summer.

I shared some photos of my first model and gave some additional style tips on this outfit.

Today, let’s look at the second outfit I showcased on the segment.

Model #2: Kristin

359360361
Why I love this look:

  • Dress: This printed silk dress is AMAZING for summer! It shows off the right amount of arm (no spaghetti straps here), is an appropriate length for work, is light andsumemry, and will turn heads as you walk down the hallway.  I paired it with a skinny, metallic belt to define our model’s waistline.  By placing the belt a bit higher on Kristin’s natural waistline, we’re creating the illusion of a longer, leaner leg.
  • Shoes: With this entire outfit, you can see how it’s possible to wear a lot of colour – including your shoes – without looking ridiculous.  This is a great peep-toe pump for summer and will look fab paired with several different outfits.
  • Accessories: Since this dress is quite colourful, I’ve added delicate, silver and gold bracelets and earrings.  I love mixing these different tones together; it looks great paired with her dress.

Thanks to House of Tin Salon and Makeup by Bean for the lovely office-appropriate hair and makeup.

Stay tuned for a run-down of model #3….

For this segment, L2 Style showcased clothing from Thread Hill and shoes from Sole Revival.
