Add a puffer coat

It’s getting pretty chilly outside. On those cold-but-not-so-cold days, I like to add a puffer coat under a ligher shell, blazer or sports coat.  This looks quite stylish and will keep you warm and toasty as you move about town. Yes- it works for everyone. Style Tip: Make sure the outer layer has some structure to it. This will help give you some shape so you don’t look like a snowman. Here are a couple of puffer coats that would compress well under any jacket or blazer. For the Ladies #1- Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket #2- Eddie Bauer Microtherm Storm Down Jacket For the Gents #1- The North Face Thermoball Hoodie #2- Ted Baker BADGLOK Quilted Jacket * On it’s own, this jacket has a lot of style. This is the first time I’ve put myself up on my blog.  What do you think? Stay warm.

Friday Find: Getting Organized

Sometimes, I struggle with keeping everything organized, especially when I have a few things on the go. I’ve always found it helpful to write daily (or bi-weekly) lists.  A couple of years ago, a friend shared her love of these great Action notepads. While I strive to have a paperless business, I do find it helpful having these organization tools close by… and I love checking off boxes. I hope you find it helpful too. Behance Action Pad This one stays beside my desk and I check off big items as I complete them. Action Book Mini This is a staple purse item.  You never know when you need to jot down that idea. Happy Friday.

You’ll want to hear about this: LOFT has arrived in #yeg

Hey Y’all, Hope you’re enjoying the summer. I sure am. I rarely do this but I wanted to let you know about a new store opening in Edmonton. LOFT is opening today in #yeg!  They have a little pressie just for you. I’ve shopped here with some of my clients.  It’s a great store to find professional attire at a more reasonable price point. For the office, here’s a blouse recommendation for you from LOFT: Happy Friday!
